Stanford English Learner Library of Resources

Welcome to the Stanford English Learner Library of Resources! Designed for professionals working with English Language Learners – teachers, school administrators and counselors, and professional development and pre-service providers – the library provides resources via three major modes of delivery.

The Programs site describes for-credit and professional development courses and modules, such as the Stanford Online CTEL/CLAD Program for teachers; the Executive Program for School Leaders; and the Program for Counselors of English Language Learners.

The Public Video Library provides open content access to over 10 hours of video including lectures by Stanford professors of education and classroom footage of real K-12 educators teaching English Learners. Register today and become a member of the Stanford ELL public library.

The Alumni and Student Social Networking site provides a discussion area built upon our ELL Educator Learning Community and other instructional tools for graduates of our courses. Members have access to the latest news, research and pedagogy in the field.

"Really because of our conversation and your openness about the program and the difficult "testing" option, it was one of the BEST decisions to pursue this credential via Stanford's program. I've loved it all. The curriculum, the people, and of course the facilitators who are like friends and colleagues now! It is inspiring and fun to be part of something that will make us better educators...the opportunity to be part of such an experience is awesome. To say I've been part of Stanford's Education program is a bonus."
-Suzanne Walker, Elementary Teacher, Los Gatos Union School District

I just wanted to offer my praises for your ELL video library. What a great resource. I am a first year ELL teacher in Stayton, OR with an emergency license and very little experience so for me, it is very valuable.
