Instructional Tools

Professor Hakuta has developed a tool for teachers called "WordSift."  Users enter a word into the WordSift box and a semantic map appears with multiple synonyms for the word.  It is accompanied by Google images that include the word.  WordSift also features lists of the most frequently used academic words that link to the same features – you just click on a word in the list, and you get the same features as if you had entered it into WordSift –nifty! Dr. Hakuta invites you to explore this amazing tool and share it with your colleagues. There is no charge for using this tool.
