Stanford CLAD ELL
Modules

Welcome to the Stanford CLAD ELL Modules!

We proudly share all of the course materials that previously supported the Stanford Online CLAD Program. During the 9 year period from 2003 to 2012, the program certified over 2,500 teachers, making them eligible to work with English language learners in California. Although this program is no longer offered, we are now releasing our online resources to the public free of charge. Whether you are a teacher of ELLs or a college professor who is preparing new teachers to work with students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, we hope that you find the information valuable. We also invite you to visit the Understanding Language website for the latest information, news and resources (including MOOCs) related to Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, and English Language Learners.
